Area of Service: Boston and Metro WestPregnancy and the birth of a baby can trigger a mix of powerful feelings for all family members, but especially for the new mother. Those emotions can include joy and happiness as well as fear, anxiety and depression. Most new moms experience some “baby blues” at some point during the first year of their child’s life. Those experiences usually fade quickly, but sometimes they can linger.Learning about yourself in the new roles of parent and/or partner may create problems at home or at work. We can collaborate to pinpoint strengths and identify areas of stress so that you can make the necessary adjustments to move forward from a place of strength and knowledge. In all my work I utilize a holistic approach to create a healing environment. We can work around your needs as an expectant or new mother so that you can leave our sessions with a fuller understanding of yourself as a whole, new, person.
